Do I Regret Selling My IS300?
For almost half my life, my Lexus IS300 was with me through it all—the late-night drives, car meets, modifications, breakdowns, and memories that only true car enthusiasts understand. Letting her go after 16 years wasn’t easy, and yes, I miss her. But do I regret selling her? Not for a second.
Memories That Last Forever 🚗💙
Owning the IS300 was more than just having a car—it was a journey, a part of my identity. I can still picture the first time I drove her, the excitement of installing new parts, and the laughs shared with friends along the way. The car saw my best and worst days, and while she’s no longer in my garage, those memories will always be mine.
NO.. I Don’t Regret Selling Her
✅ She Needed a New Home – A car like this deserves to be driven, not parked. Keeping her just to sit and collect dust wouldn’t have been fair to her—or me.
✅ I Couldn’t Drive Her Anymore – My vacation home location wasn’t low-car friendly, and finding someone to work on her became a struggle incase something happened Instead of stressing over it, I let her go to some one who could truly enjoy and appreciate her.
✅ The Right Owner Found Her – Selling a car you love is always tough, but when you know it’s going to someone who sees its value and passion, it makes it a little easier. She’s where she belongs now.
Do I Miss Her? Of Course.
There’s no denying that a piece of my past drove away that day. The IS300 was a chapter in my life, not just a car. Seeing photos of her still hits a little different. But at the end of the day, she served her purpose in my story, and it was time to move forward.
No Regrets—Only Gratitude
Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting. It means appreciating what was while making space for what’s next. The IS300 will always be one of my favorite cars, but I know I made the right call.
